PGCIL executive trainee (electrical) vacancies through GATE 2012: Power Grid Corporation of India limited (PGCIL) is asking online applications for the executive trainee recruitment in electrical disciplines. A candidate who completes B.E / B.TECH / B.SC in electrical engineering & appearing for GATE 2012 exam are eligible for executive (electrical) vacancies. PGCIL executive trainee (electrical) vacancy details:-

Executive trainee (electrical)

Age limit: Candidates should have an age below 28years as on 31-12-2011 & upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD is given as per Indian government rules.

Educational qualifications: Candidates have to complete full time B.E / B.TECH / B.SC (engg) in electrical / electrical & electronics / power engineering from recognized universities / institutions with 65% marks & electrical in AMIE.

Selection procedure: Candidates depending upon the score in GATE 2012 exam in electrical engineering (EE) paper will be called for group discussion & personnel interview.

How to apply: Eligible candidates have to apply through online from the website of PGCIL www.powergridindia.com. To apply online for PGCIL, candidates are required to register in GATE 2012 exams where GATE registration number is given for candidates. Once candidates gets GATE registration number, candidate has to fill application for executive trainee (electrical) through online on or before 15-02-2012.

Online application instructions:
1. Candidates have to register for GATE 2012 exam through online & as to appear for GATE 2012 exam in electrical discipline
2. With the details of GATE registration number & other required information, candidate have to apply online at career section of PGCIL website www.powergridindia.com from 04-01-2012 to 15-02-2012.

Starting date of online GATE application: 12-09-2011
Last date of online GATE application: 17-10-2011
Last date of receipt of hard copy of GATE application at GATE office: 24-10-2011
GATE examination conducted on 12-02-2012
GATE exam results will be declared on 15-03-2012

For PGCIL executive trainee (electrical) vacancy:-
Starting date of PGCIL online application: 04-01-2012
Closing date of PGCIL online application: 15-02-2012
