Scientific Assistant: 465 posts in Indian Meteorological Department

Age limit: Not Exceeding 30 years as on 28-10-2011, age relaxation as per rules.

Educational qualification: Candidates passed with Bachelors Degree in Science, Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with 60% marks.

Application fee: Candidates paid the fee for Rs 100/- for General candidates (No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates) through State Bank of India challan or using online payment facility of State Bank of India.

Selection procedure: The mode of selection is based on written test/interview (personality test).

How to apply: The eligible candidates have to apply through online from the SSC website between 01-10-2011 to 26-10-2011 for part I Registration and 01-10-2011 to 28-10-2011 for part II Registration. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before applying online. The filling of online application contains two parts that is part I Registration and part II Registration.

Opening date for online submission of part I Registration: 01-10-2011 to 26-10-2011.
