Kerala PSC Jobs 2011.


Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC), Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications from eligible candidates of India, for recruitment 2011, for various posts. The recruitment is to be done for the following posts:
  • Medical Officer (Ayurveda) / Assistant Insurance Medical Officer (Ayurveda) (Indian Systems of Medicine / Insurance Medical Service)
  • Geologist (Mining and Geology)
  • Assistant Divisional Officer (Kerala Fire and Rescue Services)
  • Pharmacist Grade II (Homoeopathy) (Homoeopathy Department)
  • Pharmacist Grade II (Homoeopathy) (Homoeopathy Department) (For Reservation Group)
  • Security Guard [Health Services (Health Transport Central Workshop)]   
  • Agriculture Officer Grade II (Agriculture Department)
 
The recruitment is to be done directly or Suitability test / Eligibility Test basis. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Written Examination / Physical Efficiency Test / Practical Test / Interview. Eligibility:
Medical Officer (Ayurveda) / Assistant Insurance Medical Officer (Ayurveda) (Indian Systems of Medicine / Insurance Medical Service)
  • Degree / Diploma in Ayurveda or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University in Kerala
  • Should have registered under Class A, in the Travancore - Cochin Medical Council
  • Candidates should be above the age of 19 years and below the age of 40 years for the post of Medical Officerand for the post of Assistant Insurance Medical Officer, should be above the age of 21 years and below the age of 41 years.
Geologist (Mining and Geology)
  • Degree of M Sc or its equivalent degree in Geology / Applied Geology or Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
  • Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 45 years
Assistant Divisional Officer (Kerala Fire and Rescue Services)
  • Graduation degree in Science (Chemistry) from a recognized University
  • Candidates should be above the age of 20 years and below the age of 30 years
Pharmacist Grade II (Homoeo) (Homoeopathy Department)
  • Candidates should have passed in SSLC or its equivalent qualification
  • Certificate in Nurse-cum-Pharmacist Training Course (Homoeopathy) obtained after successful training or its equivalent qualification
  • Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years
  • For Reservation group, age should be above 18 years and below 38 years & 40 years for Muslim / Latin Catholics / Viswakarma / OX / Dheevara and SC / ST candidates respectively
Security Guard [Health Services (Health Transport Central Workshop)]
  • Should have passed VIII standard
  • Candidate should be a retired person from Indian Army Service preferably from Infantry Wing with clear service history
  • Should have good physique
  • Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 38 years
Agriculture Officer Grade II (Agriculture Department)
  • Candidates should be an Agriculture Assistant in the agriculture department
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the relevant field

How To Apply:
  • Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and willing to apply, can fill online application form by visiting the official link of Kerala PSC: http://keralapsc.org/notifi.htm.
  • Candidates, for the post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) / Assistant Insurance Medical Officer (Ayurveda), Geologist, Assistant Divisional Officer, Pharmacist Grade II (Homoeo) and Security Guard, should have to fill online application form, for applying, for the respective post. The recruitment is done on direct basis.
  • For the post of Agriculture Officer Grade II, candidates have to appear for the Suitability Test / Eligibility Test. For applying for the post, candidates can download the application form from the official link: http://keralapsc.org/forms/application%20form%20for%20eligibility%20test.pdf.
  • Complete application form, along with the Original Service Certificate, should be submitted to the Deputy Secretary, Examination Wing III, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Candidates should mention the Application for admission to the Suitability Test for Agricultural officer Grade II, on the top of the envelope and candidates name, address & the category no., on the bottom left hand corner of the envelope, in which the form would be send.
  • Before filling the online application form, candidates should generate a scan copy of passport size photograph and signature, which is required for successful submission of the application form.
  • Candidates should apply online before or on September 14, 2011 till 05.00 PM and last date on receiving the application form is September 14, 2011 till 05.00 PM.
  • After successful submitting of application form, system will generate a receipt of application form and Barcode, which candidates should take printout and keep it as future reference.
  • Candidates need to bring all the required original documents / certificates, at the time of interview

UPSC Geologist EXAM 2011

GEOLOGISTS' EXAMINATION, 2011

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Geologists' Examination 2010 commencing from 3rd  December, 2011 for recruitment to  following posts Geologist in various departments of Government of India. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
  1. Geologist Group A : 300 posts in Geological Survey of India

  2. Jr. Hydrologists (Scientist B) Group A : 07 posts in Central Ground Water Board

  3. Assistant Hydrologists Group B : 30 posts in Central Ground Water Board

Conditions of Eligibility
(A) Age Limits: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2011. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

(B) Educational Qualifications: A candidate must hold (i) Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognised University or (ii) Master's Degree in Mineral Exploration or (iii) Master's Degree in Hydrology or (iv) Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
(C) Physical Standards: candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for Indian Geologist's Examination, 2009 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

For the candidates from certain remote areas, Offline applications can also be filled in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/-, which must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service commission, Dholpur house, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier, on or before 26/09/2011.
